Start counting the days until the best Spring Break Camp Ever!

This email confirms your place with Chehaw Camp! Please complete the attached medical release and bring a completed copy to your first day of camp. Parents below is some general camp information. We will send additional information closer to camp with more details on our day to day activities plus specific drop off and pick up locations! Parents letters will be sent out the Saturday before your camp session, be sure to check your spam sometimes email servers don't like attachments.

At the time of drop-off, you will designate who will be picking up your camper; the pick up person can change day to day. The pick up person is required to show a form of picture ID. Early camper drop off is at 8 am with activities starting at 9 am. Camper pick up is at 3 pm. After camp care is available from the end of camp until 6 pm. After camp care pricing is $10 per day, members receive half price after camp care. The drop off and pick up person does not have to be a legal guardian, siblings, baby sitters, grandparents, or carpool friends can drop off or pick up campers. HOWEVER, the program release must be completed by the parent or legal guardian and given to counselors at check in. Campers will NOT be allowed to stay and participate without a completed copy on file.

If you need to contact your camper while camp is in session, please call 229-430-5275 and ask that a member of the education staff be contacted by radio. Your camp fee includes a water bottle to stay hydrated, a light snack, and Chehaw adventures! Lunches are available for purchase through Chehaw's concession stand, lunches are $6 and include a hot dog or PBJ (uncrustable), goldfish, fruit cup and capri sun. You can purchase your lunch during sign in with cash or check. Running late, we can add lunches to the card used to make the original camp purchase. Simply email or call the Director of Education.

Please limit items brought to camp to the following:

Camper Lunch (you may also choose to order lunches)
Refillable Water Bottle (Required)
Close-toed shoes (Required)
Pre-applied sunscreen
Pre-applied insect spray
Weather appropriate gear

All items should be labeled with the camper's name to reduce any confusion. You may want to keep a towel in the pick-up vehicle because some days the children may be muddy, damp or dirty. Please be sure to send your camper in play clothes, this is an active, outdoor camp and we are great at finding ways to get dirty!

Parents will be given a schedule of the campers’ activities at the beginning of the week. All parents/guardians are invited to come into the classroom when dropping off campers; however, we do ask that parents and guests leave before camp starts at 9 am.
