Each day of camp includes a trip to the zoo, animal encounters, crafts, games, activities, snack, Chehaw water bottle, and a cool camp T-shirt! Children will have fun while learning through hands-on activities.

Full day sessions are open to campers age 5-12. Half day sessions are open for campers age 4. Need a late pick up? After camp care is available until 6 pm for $10 per day or $40 for the entire week. Members receive a 10% discount on all camp sessions plus half price on after camp care. Save big on any camp session, register one camper for 4 camper sessions and receive $50 in savings.

Team Chehaw is committed to the safety of our campers, staff, and zoological collection. We are using the CDC Summer Camp Guidelines and AZA COVID-19 Zoological Guidelines. Please see below for an outline of the extra safety measures our staff has implemented.

Chehaw staff is committed to the safety of your camper. In addition to our enhanced cleaning and sanitization we have modified our camp policies.

Groups sizes have been reduced
Campers, staff and volunteers will have their temperature checked throughout the day
Campers are required to wear their mask at all times except while eating, drinking, or engaged in a socially distanced activity
Campers will be required to wear a mask indoors and spaced
Campers must bring their own lunch; we are unable to offer lunches
